Rappers unearth the world of Lyari football

Despite being infested with gang wars and poverty, the town of Lyari remains the cultural gem, with a historical and unbiased love towards the game of football.

The game remains a crucial part of Lyari identity, and the town has been a beacon of some really exceptional footballers. However, like the deprived state of rest of the sports in the country, the Lyaarianz (people of Lyari) suffer the same fate and are subjected to corruption nepotism and discrimination.

Now a group of rappers from Lyari are using their fierce rap music to show the world the plight of the footballers from Lyari.

Part of Patari Tabeer, rappers Lyari Underground & Dynoman have just nailed the whole Lyari football scene thought their track Players of Lyari. The rap song reveals the passions and the never ending list of obstacles any footballer from Lyari has to undergo just to get a chance.
