RIO DE JANEIRO: Brazil's jobless rate was unchanged at 6.0 percent in September, the government's statistics agency IBGE said on Thursday.
The unemployment rate had been expected to drop to 5.8 percent, according to the median forecast of 10 economists surveyed by Reuters. Their estimates ranged from 5.5 percent to 6.0 percent.
