RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 47635.03 with a positive change of 210.40 and volume of 98,037,500 shares.

High and Low were 47664.08 and 47424.63 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 178,363,850 shares with 369 total traded companies out of which 230 were up, 131 were down and 8 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 47,667,550 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume 24,794,800 shares.

The three top traded companies were Fauji Cement with a volume of 18,413,000 and price per share of 45.15 (2.09), K-Electric Ltd. with a volume 17,023,500 of price per share of 9.35 (0.10), Dewan Cement twith a volume 14,871,500 of price per share of 40.30 (1.29).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2720.41 (129.54), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4700.01 (94.25) and Hinopak Motor share of 1731.69 (82.46).

The top three decliners were Philip Morris Pak. with price per share of 2650.00 (102.08), Sapphire Tex. with price per share of 1230.00 (60.00) and Sapphire Fiber per share of 925.00 (45.00).
