Custom Houses to remain open on 29 and 30 October

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Thursday announced that all the Model Customs Collectorates would remain open on Saturday and Sunday, October 29 and 30.

These collectorates would work as normal working days in order to facilitate the trade and industry in getting their cargo cleared for imports and exports.

The Chief Collectorates have been directed to coordinate with management of State Bank of Pakistan and National Bank of Pakistan to provide banking facility by the designated branches on these dates to ensure the payment of duty and taxes.

The port authorities and operators have been advised to synchronize their working accordingly.
