RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Monday having 46689.73 points with a positive change of 55.74 and volume of 83,495,050 shares.

High and Low were 46898.59 and 46622.42 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 179,672,900 shares with 386 total traded companies out of which 185 were up 181 were down and 20 were unchanged.

TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 23,461,500 shares. It was followed by CCOMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 22,313,900 shares.

The three top traded companies were TRG Pak Ltd with a volume of 18,620,500 and price per share of 45.51 (1.69), Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume 9,309,000 of price per share of 10.52 (0.07), B.O.Punjab with a volume 8,216,000 of price per share of 17.22 (0.33).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 4717.20 (181.46), Philip Morris Pak. price per share of 2630.91 (125.31) and Hinopak Motor share of 1640.05 (50.05).

The top three decliners were Bata (Pak) with price per share of 4700.00 (81.79), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2350.00 (60.96) and Khyber Tobacco share of 1047.52 (50.48).
