CPEC golden opportunity for backward areas development: Imran

SWABI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday said that the Chaina Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a golden opportunity for the backward areas of the country to prosper and make development.

Addressing a public rally here, the PTI chief said the CPEC would change the future of Pakistan by connecting it with China and other regional countries and help develop western areas like Karak, DI Khan, Mianwali and other backward areas.

The Corridor would help alleviate poverty from the country, he added.

Imran Khan said 45 per cent children could not attain their maximum height because of malnourishment.
