FAISALABAD: Gas supply to all CNG Stations in the division will remain closed for more than 2 days from Thursday morning.
According to a spokesman of SNGPL, under the schedule, all CNG stations of Faisalabad division observe gas suspension from 6:00 a.m. on Thursday to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The gas supply will also be closed in Faisalabad from Thursday (October 27) morning to Saturday (October 29) evening.
The CNG Stations' owners should avoid from supplying gas to vehicles during closure days. Otherwise, they would be handed down with heavy fines besides taking legal action against them, the spokesman warned.
On other hand, CNG Stations' Owners Association strongly protested against weekly token closure of gas for more than 2 days in Faisalabad and said that this is not the right way to overcome the energy shortage including gas but the government should search for new reserves of coal and gas to trounce its shortfall.
They also demanded the government for exemption of CNG Stations from gas load management schedule so as the commuters could be saved from the wrath of transportation problems.
