KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Friday having 45387.23 points with a positive change of 645.25 and volume of 195,261,880 shares.

High and Low were 45489.59 and 44741.98 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 407,124,320 shares with 389 total traded companies out of which 208 were up 158 were down and 23 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 71,983,050 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 69,330,700 shares.

The three top traded companies were Aisha Steel Mill. with a volume of 41,736,000 and price per share of 16.01 (0.54), B.O.Punjab with a volume 33,258,500 of price per share of 17.72 (0.54), Fauji CementXD with a volume 18,966,000 of price per share of 42.10 (0.33).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 4946.62 (235.55), Bata (Pak) with price per share of 4543.00 (214.33) and Nestle Pakistan. share of 9002.50 (202.50).

The top three decliners were Philip Morris Pak. with price per share of 2230.00 (-69.95), Khyber Tobacco with price per share of 1140.00 (-60.00) and Indus DyeingXD. share of 807.00 (-42.00).
