RECORDER REPORT: PSX MID DAY UPDATE

KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 45319.97 with a positive change of 577.99 and volume of 112,262,070 shares.

High and Low were 45334.81 and 44741.98 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 218,435,900shares with 349 total traded companies out of which 234 were up, 102 were down and 13 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 40,269,800 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 39,237,600 shares.

The three top traded companies were Aisha Steel Mill with a volume of 25,141,500 and price per share of 15.96 (0.49), B.O.Punjab. with a volume 23,539,500 of price per share of 17.90 (0.72), Pak Int.Bulk with a volume 17,633,000 of price per share of 33.67 (1.60).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 4946.62 (235.55), Mari Petroleum with price per share of 1245.40 (59.30) and Siemens Pak. share of 1203.44 (57.30).

The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of. 7800.00 (-200.00), Nestle Pakistan.with price per share of 8605.00 (-195.00) and Unilever Foods per share of 5600.00 (-99.00).
