WELLINGTON: The third quarter consumers price index (CPI) was released by Statistics New Zealand (SNZ) on Tuesday.
Economists polled by Reuters had forecast a rise of 0.7 percent for the quarter and a rise of 4.9 percent from the same quarter a year earlier, which are the same forecasts made by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in its September 15 monetary policy statement.
