TEHRAN: The fourth session of Iran-Pakistan Joint Consular Commission was held here in the presence of consular officials of the two countries.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary and Iranian Expatriate Affairs Hassan Qashqavi and Pakistan's Interior Secretary K.M. Seddiq Akbar presided over the session.
During the session, Iranian and Pakistani officials discussed joint consular cooperation and problems of the two countries' nationals.
In the meeting both the sides exchanged views on ways to expand security cooperation in fighting terrorism and organized crime, border security, drug trafficking, kidnapping, arms smuggling, human trafficking, illegal immigration and police cooperation.
Matters related to education were also discussed during the meeting.
