Pak, US will work together for peace, security in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON: United States and Pakistan would work together for peace and security in Afghanistan, says US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

In an interview with CNN‚ she said "we are about 90 to 95 percent in agreement between the US and Pakistan about the means of our moving towards what is our commonly shared goals. We have a work plan and real commitment to making sure we are as effective as possible together."

US Secretary of State "acknowledged the effectiveness of Pakistan's cooperation against al Qaeda.

Pakistanis themselves have suffered enormously as a result of their military actions against the terrorist networks."
