The much awaited Pakistan tour against New Zealand will begin on Thursday, as the two teams collide in the First Test match at the earthquake hit Christchurch.
The team which will exploit the conditions to the fullest would hold an edge, opined the Black Caps skipper Kane Williamson, talking to the media ahead of the First Test match.
Williamson praised Pakistan calling them a tough side to beat on back of their ability to adapt in foreign conditions.
“They (Pakistan) are a very good side, and I think the side that they have shown that they can adapt well all around the world,” stated Williamson, while talking to media, reported Cricinfo.
Williamson further praised Pakistan varied bowling attack particularly favoring leg spinner Yasir Shah, calling him ‘a very good spinner.’ This combined with an experienced batting line up make Pakistan a tough opponent, added the skipper.
Being a home side the New Zealand does enjoy the home advantage, said Williamson. However, the New Zealand would have to make adjustments themselves coming after a tour from the sub continent, he added.
Pakistan would play New Zealand in a two test match series, the number two ranked Test team would be looking to cash in on a perceived lack of confidence in the New Zealand ranks after their disastrous tour of India, as Pakistan eyes to cement its dominance in Test cricket.
