KE seeks 83 paisa cut in power tariff for Oct

ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) will take up K-Electric (KE) petition on November 22 to cut power tariff for October under monthly fuel adjustment mechanism.

Official sources told APP here that in a petition, the KE sought 83 paisa cut per unit in tariff for the said period. A total of 1,477.099 million units were sold during the said period.

The NEPRA would determine the tariff after hearing the petition. However, they said reduction would not be applicable to the consumers using less than 300 units.
