ANKARA: Turkey will issue two lira-denominated sukuk bonds on Sept. 27 worth a planned 2 billion lira ($672 million) to diversify its borrowing instruments, broaden its investor base and increase domestic savings, the Turkish Treasury said on Monday.
The sukuk bonds will mature on Sept. 26, 2018 and Sept. 22, 2021, the treasury said in a statement.
