Dhoni likes to play more matches in US

imageIndia's limited overs captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni likes the United States as the cricket venue and praises the playing environment there. He wants to go back to play again and wants more matches in the country.

Speaking in the post match presentation of the second and last Twenty20 international against West Indies, he praised the efforts to arrange the short series in United States and acknowledging the support, added that the team would like to come back and play here more.

“This is one place where we can come back and play lot of cricket maybe a triangular or a four-nation ODI or T20 series. It will be better to play T20s to start off,” he said.

“The venue looks good. It will also give us more time to spend in the US, we played back to back games. It will easily fit into our schedule because at this time of year we don't play many games at home,” Dhoni added.

“Yes it will be a bit cramped for international cricketers but I don't think the modern cricketers mind it. Also the money making ability of this place, the spectators will come, the time suits broadcasters. It's a win-win situation for everyone. It's a good venue to continue cricket,” he explained.

India played its first-ever official match on American soil at Lauderhill, which MS Dhoni & Co lost by a solitary run. West Indies, the world champions in the format, claimed the two-match series after the second match was abandoned to wet outfield on Sunday.
