KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Tuesday having 39400.19 points with a negative change of 57.76 and volume of 66,510,340 shares.
High and Low were 39617.75 and 39362.61 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 173,745,760 shares with 366 total traded companies out of which 153 were up 195 were down and 18 were unchanged.
TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 18,102,500 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 17,837,100 shares.
The three top traded companies were Media Times Ltd with a volume of 8,298,000 and price per share of 1.90 (0.18), Dewan Motors with a volume 5,825,500 of price per share of 21.48 (0.01), Agritech Limited with a volume 3,540,000 of price per share of 13.50 (0.17).
The top three advancers were Philip Morris Pak. with price per share 1568.00 (72.96), Murree Brewery with price per share of 905.59 (43.12) and Sanofi-Aventis share of 752.82 (35.84).
The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7389.40 (260.59), Unilever Foods with price per share of 5600.00 (200.00) and Siemens Pak. share of 876.67 (13.33).
