Japanese Prime Minister due on April 30

Prime Minister of Japan Junichiro Koizumi will pay a two-day visit to Pakistan from April 30 to May 1. This will be his first visit to Pakistan, foreign office spokesman Jalil A Jilani said. Prime Minister Koizumi will call on President Pervez Musharraf and hold talks with Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. During the visit the two sides will review bilateral relations and exchange views, on regional and global situation. Japan is an important economic partner of Pakistan. Several development projects in Pakistan are being implemented with Japanese assistance.
