LONDON: Supply of the four North Sea crude oil grades that underpin the Brent benchmark will rise slightly in September, according to loading programmes issued on Monday and to trade sources.
Output of Brent itself, Forties, Ekofisk and Oseberg (BFOE)will average about 840,000 barrels per day (bpd) in September based on newly released loading schedules, up from 812,000 bpd in August after taking revisions into account.
The revisions were caused by two August cargoes - one of Oseberg and one of Forties - being dropped from the programme, trade sources said. One Ekofisk cargo was added to the August programme after it was delayed from July.
Supply of the largest stream, Forties, is expected to average 360,000 bpd based on the programme, which contains 18 cargoes of 600,000 barrels, down slightly from the revised August schedule.
