Pak Army's life saving operations in rain affected areas
KARACHI: On the 33rd day of flood services rendered by Pakistan Army in central and southern reaches of Sindh, the Army aviation air transported and dropped tones of rations in flood affected ares of Sanghar and Badin.
An ISPR statement here on Thursday said that soldiers on rescue mission are serving the people round the clock.
It said that on September 15, Pakistan Army rescued 2,500 people and shifted them to safer place through Army boats, trucks and helicopters.
Whereas, more than 4,000 tones of rations has been distributed by Army troops on trucks, boats and air dropped by Helicopters in the past two weeks.
Pak Army Medical assets have treated more than 2,000 patients in various medical camps on September 15.
