ISLAMABAD: The authorities of Indian telecommunications company in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) had admitted that they snapped the mobile phone of the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani on the directives of the regime led by Omar Abdullah.
Ayaz Akbar, the spokesman of the Forum led by Syed Ali Gilani, talking to Kashmir Media Service said that the General Manager of BSNL had told him personally that the Corporation had strict orders from the authorities not to restore Gilani's and his (Akbar's) phone numbers under any circumstances.
