Argentina_flagBUENOS AIRES: Argentina's official inflation was 0.8 percent in August, the same as the previous month and matching expectations in a Reuters poll, the government reported on Wednesday.

Argentina's official inflation figures are widely discredited and private economists said consumer prices really rose between 1.4 percent and 2.0 percent last month.
