Dengue on the rise, three more dead
LAHORE: Dengue fever has claimed three more lives here in the city, the death toll reaches to 17.
According to details, Nadeem, a resident of New Mazang was shifted to Services Hospital four days back where the doctors diagnosed him with dengue virus. Nadeem could not survive due to reduction of platelets in his blood.
Meanwhile, constable of Punjab Police Mujahid Squad Atta Muhammad also died of dengue. Atta was under treatment in Jinnah Hospital.
Moreover, 14-year-old Ali also died of dengue fever. Ali was under treatment at the Children’s Hospital.
Death toll due to dengue fever has reached 17 in the provincial capital.
