Rind for end of allegations against politicians in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: Senator Mir Muhammad Ali Rind on Wednesday said that baseless allegations should not be levelled against politicians which could add fuel to the present law and order situation in Balochistan.

"We have experienced and able politicians and the policy of opposition for the sake of opposition should immediately be stopped," he said in an interview with APP.

The Senator, who was selected from Balochistan province as member of the Upper House of the Parliament, said the province has been enjoying peace for decades but wrong policies of the previous regimes and false allegations against the politicians ruined the atmosphere of peace and harmony.

Mir Muhammad Ali Rind complained that he was involved in the false cases despite being elected as member of provincial assembly for the last 12 years.

"I have filed an appeal against these cases in the Apex court to get justice," he added.

To a question, he said the present government was following the policy of reconciliation and taking all the stakeholder on board in decisions making.

He said that the government would complete its tenure and expressed the confidence that people of his constituency would elect him again in the next elections as well keeping in view his services for the masses.

About floods and dengue epidemic, he said these are the challenges and the nation could meet them by helping each other.
