hospitalLAHORE: The private hospitals of Lahore have voluntarily announced to provide free treatment to the dengue fever patients on the appeal of Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

This announcement was made in a joint meeting of a committee constituted by Chief Minister Punjab and representatives of private hospitals on Saturday.

The representatives of private hospitals announced that they were standing side by side with Lahorites in this hour of trial and ready to utilize all their resources for their help.

They further announced 100pc free diagnostic facilities to the dengue fever patients in their outdoor departments whereas representative of Surayya Azeem Hospital announced allocating 10 beds for dengue fever patients.

Similarly, the representatives of Surgimed hospital announced allocating 20 beds, Amar Medical Complex ten beds, Fatima Memorial 30, WAPDA Hospital 20, Shalimar Hospital 40, Family Hospital 10, Ghurki Trust 15 and Farooq Hospital 15 beds whereas Ittefaq Trust Hospital and Hijaz Hospital also announced provision of free medical treatment facilities in outdoor departments.

Meanwhile, a spokesman of the Sharif family has annonced that free treatment facilities would also be provided to the dengue fever patients in Ittefaq Trust Hospital and Sharif Medical Trust Hospital.
