tanzaniaZANZIBAR: A ferry sank overnight between two islands in the Zanzibar archipelago, off Tanzania, and a number of people are feared dead, a minister in the semi-autonomous republic said Saturday.

"We are trying to establish the number of people who were on board, but we have been told the ferry was overloaded," Issa Gavu, deputy secretary of state for infrastructure and communications, told journalists.
