Pakistan can exploit trade opportunities with CARs
ISLAMABAD: Dr. Sarfraz Khan expert on Central Asian affairs has termed Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani's visit to Kazakhstan as a good step for enhancing trade between the two countries.
Talking to PTV on Wednesday, he said Kazakhstan is rich in natural resources and a major iron producing country in the region.
He said Pakistan can enjoy billions of dollars of bilateral trade with Kazakhstan.
He said Central Asian countries can also help Pakistan in meeting its energy requirement.
He said Pakistan can export pharmaceuticals and cotton made products to Central Asian countries by road.
Replying to a question, he said peace in Afghanistan and Pakistan is imperative for trade with Central Asian countries.
