SYDNEY: Australian stocks jumped 2.23 percent on Tuesday, with analysts suggesting a short-term pull-back was now on the cards.
At the close, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 was 91.1 points higher at 4,173.4.
The Australian dollar was trading at 104.58 US cents late in the session, from 103.86 cents at the close on Monday.
