KARACHI: Four ships C.V YM Mobility, M.T Au Leo, M.T GSW Fabulous and M.T King Duncan, carrying Containers, Palm oil
and Furnace Oil were berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Multipurpose Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively at Qasim on Monday, June 22nd 2015. Meanwhile two more ships carrying soya bean seeds and paim oil also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was observed at the Port at 60% on Tuesday, where nine ships namely C.V YM Mobility, C.V Posen, C.V TG Aphrodite, C.V MSC Toxas, M.V Sri Premveena, M.T Au Leo, M.T GSW Fabulous, M.T Exquisite and M.T King Duncan, were occupied at PQA berths to load/ offload Containers, Canola Seeds, Palm Oil, LNG and Furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
Cargo throughput during last 24 hours stood at 70,875 tonnes comprises 53,243 tonnes imports, and 17,632 tonnes exports inclusive containerized cargo carried in 2,231 Containers (TEUs) (1,303 imports and 928 exports TEUs) were handled at the port. Departures:

Three ships C.V CMA CGM Racine, C.V MSC Positano and M.V Goeogioss carrying containers and soya bean seeds are expected to take berths at Container Terminal and Grain & Fertilizer Terminal respectively on Tuesday, 23 June-2015.
