italiana_stock MILAN: Italian stocks opened down on Friday and accelerated their losses to over 2.0 percent in early trading on growing fears of a fresh recession for Italy.

The benchmark FTSE Mib index in Milan was down 2.28 percent at 14,628.50 points with Fiat Industrial's shares suffering the worst fall of 4.10 percent.
