KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik Friday held a meeting with the religious leader and head of Nizam-e-Mustafa Party, Haji Hanif Tayyab, and discussed the law order situation here.
The Minister discussed measures to maintain peace in the city in consensus with all the parties in the larger interest of the country.
They held the meeting at the crisis management cell.
Later, talking to newsmen Tayyab said that he discussed in detail about the law and order situation and recent targeted killings in Karachi.
He said that the Minister has asked the religious parties to spread the message of peace and brotherhood among the masses.
