Gilani asks Governor Khosa to play his constitutional role

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Saturday said that government's policy of reconciliation has helped it resolve national issues and strengthen democracy.

Talking to Sardar Latif Khosa, Governor of Punjab here at the PM House, Gilani urged all political parties to work for strengthening of democratic institutions so as to provide relief to masses.

The Prime Minister asked the Governor to play his constitutional role to ensure political harmony among all political parties in the interest of the people of province. He asked him to monitor the price control in the province ahead of Holy Month of Ramadan.

Governor Sardar Latif Khosa assured the Prime Minister that he would play his due constitutional role for betterment of people of province. Both leaders discussed overall political situation of the country.
