Evacuee Trust record being computerized to ensure transparency: Siddique-ul-Farooq

D.I. KHAN: Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board, Siddique-ul-Farooq on Saturday said record of the trust was being computerized and its website would be launched to ensure complete transparency.

Talking to media during his official visit here, he said that corruption and inefficiency would not be tolerated at the Evacuee Trust, adding he would run affairs of the trust in a transparent manner.

Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) candidate from PK- 64 constituency, Sardar Qazar Khan Mainkhel, provincial leader Dr Abdullah Zafri, District General Secretary Chaudhry Riaz Advocate and other leaders that include Din Mohammad, Asif Barkzai, Zeeshan Raj, Javed Wazir and Osama Zafri were present on the occasion.

On the occasion, Siddique-ul-Farooq said total worth of the trust property was Rs 1,000 billion and informed that under new formula people would be allowed to construct buildings on the trust property.

He said corruption would not be tolerated at any cost and asked people to lodge complaint on his cell number 0300-8560466, if any employe of the Evacuee Trust demanded bribe.

He said 21st Constitutional Amendment would help eliminate terrorism from the country.

He said government was ready to remove apprehension of any political party on special speedy courts through dialogue process.
