ISLAMABAD: Spokesperson to Prime Minister Musadiq Malik said Imran Khan should avoid protests while talks between Government and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) are underway.
Talking to PTV news, Musadiq said the political parties should sacrifice their personal gains for national interests and avoid politics of anarchy in the best interest of the country.
He said sits-in and protests have been affecting the economy and education in the country. He added that protest demonstrations should be held in specific areas so that life of the common man continues unaffected.
To a question he said that Chinese investment of over US$ 40 billion for different development projects would bring prosperity in the country.
He further said Gwadar Port project will be completed with the support of China and Pak-China economic corridor would help improve the economy of the country.
Musadik Malik said it was imperative for the nation to be united to make Pakistan a developed country.
He stated the problem of power shortage will be overcome with the timely completion of power projects.
"Following the grant of GSP plus status by the European Union, China, Russia, Germany and other countries have been showing interest to invest in different development projects in Pakistan", he said adding it would go a long way in improving economic health of the country.
