imageISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected police inquiry report of F-8 Kutchery gun-and-bomb attack in the federal capital and directed the Police to submit a detailed fresh report of the incident and negligence of police by January 14.

The three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Nasir-Ul-Mulk comprising Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Mushir Alam resumed hearing of the case.

The court also directed the Attorney General for Pakistan to submit a report regarding compensation paid to the injured and deceased of the incident.

The court observed that police in its report involved junior officials and saved the high ups by ignoring them in the report.

Later the hearing of the case was adjourned till January 14, next year.

During hearing of the case regarding missing of Advocate Zaheer Gondal, Punjab Police submitted a report before the three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Nasir-Ul-Mulk.

Additional Advocate General Punjab stated that two brothers of the abducted Zaheer Gondal have well established links with terrorist organizations.

He said that reportedly the mastermind of various suicide attacks in Islamabad and Punjab (Luna Caprice Resturant suicide attack, Marriot suicide attack, Gen Mushtaq's suicidal assassination, assassination of Shahbaz Bhatti, suicide attack on Denmark Embassy, attack on NATO Containers.

He said the fact has been established by the arrest of Hammad Adil from Barakahu, who during interrogation before Islamabad Police revealed that Tanveer Gondal brother of Zaheer Gondal Advocate wAS involved in planning of suicide attack on former President Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf during hearing at ATC Rawalpindi in June 2013.

He said there was no evidence available on record that could point to this being a case of force disappearance.

The report revealed that a detailed meeting was held with the counterparts of Intelligence Agencies to discuss and share any new information about the current location of Zaheer Gonal. As per information available with the intelligence agency, Zaheer Gondal, fearful of his own arrest, left for Waziristan in July 2013 after the arrest of one Umar Abdullah (involved in the assassination of Ch. Zulifqar).
