ecbFRANKFURT: The European Central Bank kept its key interest rate at 1.25 percent, a spokesman said Thursday as markets waited to see if the ECB would tone down differences with Germany over aid for Greece.

The bank also kept two other benchmark rates, the marginal lending rate and the deposit rate, unchanged at 2.00 percent and 0.50 percent.
