imageISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak has said that KPK government is committed to develop all the social sectors including education.

Talking to VOA, he said that KPK government is trying to promote the education sector by increasing budget and through foreign assistance.

He said that problems of government educational intuitions are being solved on priority basis. "We took many steps so that child of the poor can get education," he added.

The Chief Minister said foreign intuitions were showing keen interest to assist the province in education sector.

He said foreign assistance would prove helpful for the promotion of education in the province.

We have assured foreign donors that their amount would be used judiciously, he said.

He said that overseas Pakistanis have also been appealed to assist in the construction of those schools which had been damaged due to extremism and earthquake of 2005.
