HDIP to establish Mega CNG station at Karachi
KARACHI: The Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan (HDIP), an autonomous organization of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources has approached Sindh Transport Department for establishment of Mega CNG station at Karachi.
The Mega CNG station has been proposed under Shaheed Benazir Bhutto CNG Bus Programme said a statement issued here on Sunday.
The land for the project has to be provided by the Sindh Transport Department. The Transport Department has accorded his consent for the establishment of Mega CNG Station.
The Transport Department has to allocate two acres of land of ex-KTC Depots Korangi. In this regard the matter has been taken up with competent authority and soon the land will be handed over to the HDIP for execution of the project.
