MQM organizes meeting to discuss budget proposals

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee Deputy Convener Farooq Sattar said that his party would present its proposals with regard to the budget 2011-12, in the National Assembly.

He was addressing a meeting of members of the business community pertaining to budget 2011-12 at a hotel here, said a statement issued by MQM on Saturday.

Sattar said that the budget of any institution, province or country reflects its economic policy. He said the prosperity and stability depend on economic strength.

He said the objective to organize the meeting is to get in-put from the members of the business community about budget 2011-12. He said the economic stability could be achieved only with the participation of the people.

Sattar called upon the business community to play its role in preparation of the budget for 2011-12.
