KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Chief Altaf Hussain on Monday strongly condemned the killing of an official of Saudi Consulate in Karachi, Hassan-al-Kahatani.
In a statement issued by MQM here, Altaf said the elements who are involved in the incident are enemies of the people and the country.
He said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are old friends and the incident is an attempt to disturb the relations between the two countries.
He called upon the government take notice of killing of Hassan-al-Kahatani and arrest and award stern punishment to the culprits.
Altaf said he himself and all party leaders and activists share the grief of the Saudi government and people of Saudi Arabia.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
