FPCCIKARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Bangkok Chamber of Commerce will soon sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the exchange of trade delegations and information on trade and investment between the two countries.

This was decided in a meeting between the Ambassador of Thailand and Acting President FPCCI Muhammad Akber Khan here at Federation House, told FPCCI Spokesman on Monday.

The MoU will possibly be signed in July 2011, he said. The Acting President FPCCI informed the Ambassador that Pakistan has surplus textile materials for export and Thailand can take its benefit.

The Thai Ambassador said that his country and Pakistan can enter joint ventures for promotion of tourism here. In Pakistan, he noted, there is a big scope of tourism.
