MADRID: A 5.2 magnitude earthquake killed at least 10 people as it toppled buildings in the southeastern Spanish town of Lorca on Wednesday, the government said.
The office of Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero confirmed the 10 dead in a message sent via its official account on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
