ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari Wednesday on the advice of the Prime Minister approved appointment of 11 Additional Judges of Lahore High Court and three Additional Judges of Balochistan High Court.
Those who are appointed Additional Judges of Lahore High Court include Syed Kazim Raza Shamsi, Abdul Waheed Khan, Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah, Abdus Sattar Asghar, Ch Muhammad Younas, Mehmood Maqbool Bajwa, Syed Ijaz Hussain Shah, Ameenuddin Din Khan, Muhammad Ameer Bhatti, Altaf Ibrahim Qureshi and Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan.
Three new Additional Judges of Balochistan High Court include Abdul Qadir Mengal, Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar.
Earlier, members of the Parliamentary Committee on Judges appointment in the Superior Courts has confirmed the appointment on recommendations of Judicial Commission of Pakistan for appointment of above named persons as Additional Judges.
