ISLAMABAD: The Senate Standing Committee on Water and Power would discuss Pak-India water issues and litigation details on Monday.
Nawabzada Mir Haji Laskari Raisani will preside over the meeting.
According to the officials, the representatives of Ministry for Water and Power including Secretary, Chairman WAPDA and Chairman IRSA would give a detailed briefing on the future plans and measures adopted by the ministry to minimize the damages due to flash floods.
The committee will also recommend improvements in the strategy adopted for future besides suggesting ways and means to overcome the deficiencies, he said.
