PESHAWAR: The police arrested scores of suspected militants during search operation after attack on security check post here on Thursday.
According to police, unknown miscreants attacked Zanglai security check post located in Badhber police station jurisdiction late on Tuesday night.
The police retaliated the attack and exchange of fire continued for more than half and hour after which the attackers were forced to flee.
Fortunately no loss of life or injury was reported in the attack.
The police conducted search operation in Badhber and surrounding areas after the check post attack and nabbed several suspects.
