GilaniPESHAWAR: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani has been pleased to sanction financial assistance to needy persons who had made request through their respective applications.

It is pertaining to mention here that Shah Akbar had submitted an application to Prime Minister for financial help. In his application he requested the Prime Minister that his wife is a patient of cancer and his two sons are disabled and being himself an old and age person he cannot manage the expenses of treatment of his wife and sons.

The Prime Minister taking prompt action sanctioned an amount of Rs. 50,000 for Shah Akbar S/o Lal Jan, resident of FATA.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Usman s/o Muhammad Qaiser resident of Peshawar has also submitted an application to Prime Minister that in the result of an accident his one leg was broken and now become disabled.

He had spent amount of Rs. 30,000 on his treatment by borrowing money from his relatives.

Being a disable and jobless he had no source to repay the borrowed amount. Upon consideration of his request the Prime Minister also sanctioned an amount of Rs. 30, 000 for Muhammad Usman.

On the directives of Prime Minister, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Chief Coordinator, Prime Minister's Grievances Wing, Prime Minister's Secretariate, on behalf of the Prime Minister presented cheques to the respective applicants in Peshawar.

Talking to Journalist, on this occasion, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani said that elected government of Pakistan People Party is cognizant of the problems being faced by masses and it is making full efforts to minimize miseries of the people.

He said that Prime Minister took personal interest in these cases and directed him to deliver the cheques to the applicants at there residences.
