OGRA adjusts CNG prices

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has adjusted the CNG price in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Potohar region; Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Gujar Khan (region-I) as Rs 59.57 per kg.

While the price of CNG in Sindh and Punjab excluding Potohar region (region-II) will be Rs 56.80 per kg, said a news release issued here today.

The CNG price has been adjusted in accordance with ECC decision no 106/12/2009 dated 28.7.2009.

Adjustment in CNG consumer price has been envisaged owing to hike in electricity tariff, increase in the prices of petroleum products and increase in electricity loadshedding across the country.

These prices will stay in vogue till the further notification.
