MULTAN: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani arrived here on a two-day visit to Multan late Thursday night.
He was received at the airport by MPAs Syed Ahmad Mujtaba Gilani, Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar, Malik Ahmad Hussain Dehar, PM's Media Coordinator Khawaja Rizwan Alam, besides senior officials and local administration.
The Prime Minister met a number of people including notables at the airport. People also apprised him of their problems.
Later, Prime Minister Gilani attended a dinner held by All Pakistan Bed Sheets and Upholstery Manufacturers Association (APBUMA) at the Services Club.
Gilani will spend a busy day in Multan on Friday during which he will inaugurate four development schemes.
He will also hold meetings with industrialists and beneficiaries of South Punjab Development Package to get feedback on the development initiatives and will also meet notables of the city.
