Malaysia's Pengurusan Aset Air sold 2.7bn rgt sukuk

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian water asset management company Pengurusan Aset Air has sold 2.7 billion ringgit ($884 million) of Islamic bonds, the company said on Wednesday.

It sold 1.2 billion ringgit in three-year paper at 3.64 percent, one billion ringgit of 5-year paper at 3.92 percent and 500 million ringgit in 10-year paper at 4.43 percent, said Kamiliah Abu Bakar, Pengurusan Aset Air's treasury executive.

She said the issuance was part of a 20 billion ringgit government guaranteed Islamic fund-raising programme.
