KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) bench mark-100 index gained 158.69 points to close at 21802 while KSE-30 index closed 109 points higher to close at 16873 on Wednesday.
Out of total 340 active scrips, 209 moved up while 113 shed value and 18 remained unchanged.
Significant increase of Rs 79 was recorded in the stocks of Wyeth Pak Ltd to close at Rs 1750 while the stocks of Colgate Nestle Pakistan increased by Rs 45 to close at Rs 6340.
Unilever Food and Rafhan Products lost their per share value by Rs 190 to close at Rs 4700 and Rs 100 to close at Rs 5000 respectively.
Most active trading of 26383000 shares was recorded in PTCL while total market turnover remained at 238718350 shares.
All shares index increased by 108.63 points while KMI-30 index increased by 331.74 points.
